Hello Lovelies!

Not unlike any other holiday  I went all out for Halloween this year, tutu and all! I am a huge sucker for holidays, birthdays and  any special occasion really. St. Patrick’s Day, Canada Day, Groundhog day? I’ll take it! Even my wedding will be on a holiday. So it should be no surprise that Halloween is no exception.

This year my main goal was to have a costume that involved pretty makeup! I am in no way a pro, but I do absolutely love makeup and I’ll definitely try anything. Pinterest was my best friend while trying to come to a decision on the perfect idea! I’m only slightly crafty so the costume had to be simple. What did I decide on? Well with a little help from a friend the Unicorn idea stole my heart! The pictures we found on Pinterest and Instagram were all so pretty and full of bling and sparkles and all these beautiful pastel colors that I just HAD to give it a shot! The head pieces with the flowers and horn really caught my attention and with a little (more like a lot) of help the perfect headband was created! Only a headband and hairclip flowers from Ardene were used and it turned out unreal!

The makeup I used was mostly Mac and Anastasia Beverly Hills. The Glowkit from Anastasia in Sun dipped is my absolute fav! My lashes are Dodo Lashes and you can use my discount code ‘hellostyles_bysteph’ for 5% off your purchase! The wig and tutu were purchased at Value Village and the crop top is from Forever 21! All in all I would have to say my Unicorn/Pegasus/whatever this animal is actually called-costume turned out to be a success!
